Donations to the
Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Educational Trust
REGISTRATION
Our trust is registered with the Registrar of Societies of
Hong Kong as a Charitable
Educational trust.
TAX EXEMPTION
The Inland Revenue Department of Hong Kong has exempted from
tax , all donations to the trust under section 88 of the Inland
Revenue Ordinance.
FINANCIALS
Since only nominal amount is being charged from the
students, we are incurring a deficit of around 15000.00 every
month, which is being compensated by donation from few of the
donors.

MANAGEMENT KHALSA DIWAN HONG KONG.
We express our sincere thanks to management of Khalsa Diwan(
Sikh Temple) Hong Kong for their immense help in running the
activities of the S.S.Guru Gobind Singh Ed. Trust. They have
provided 4 class rooms for holding of the primary classes as
well as running of other classes during holidays. We feel worth
mentioning the name of Mr. Bawa Singh Dhillon President, , Mr.
Daljit Singh Secretary and Mr. Sucha Singh Somal, Vice
President. We do hope that in future also such co- operation and
help will be provided by the Management.
We are also grateful to the Head Priest, S. Nirmaljit Singh for
preparing and showing a slide on the Sikh History during the
summer camps and also help in teaching kirtan to the students
and encouraging them to perform on the stage during the Kirtan
Darbars.
IN SHORT WE EXPRESS OUR GRATITUE TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE DIRECTLY
OR INDIRECTLY HELPED THE TRUST IN PERFORMANCE OF ITS FUNTIONS.
APPEAL FOR DONATION
Bhai Gurdasji has wirtten as under :-

THAISA FAL EK GURSIKH KO SHA BAD SIKHAE KA.
meaning one will get the reward equivalent to building of seven
houses of gold for teaching a shabad to one student.
It is really a great cause to help the students of less
privileged families get good education or improve their standard
of education. We hereby appeal to all donors to kindly donate
generously for this sacred cause. The funds can directly be
deposited in trust’s account No. 0090782 with Bank of India,
Kowloon.
